Dream bike. Sadly my net worth is something around the current bid:)

That is an interesting bike. Looks like a Kestral or a Bianchi C4 TT bike

I really like his 'Campagnolo' brakes.

Ha ha, was looking at that Cinetica yesterday. Oberthecat, I also have a set of Cinetica drops, price was right and they're NOS. Still looking for just the right stem, I'll grab one by Spring for a build I'd like to finish sooner or later.

My bars are mounted on a 85 Schwinn Peloton in a Cinetica stem. The bars were NOS and the stem is used.

The bikes were built by C4. The same company that also built the first carbon fiber Bianchi bikes. You can find one about a quarter of what the seller of the ebay bike is asking. I would far prefer to have one of the 2 Cinetica tandems that were built. The bars and stems never sold well as they are no lighter than others bars and stems and are more likely to fail.

Any source(s) or evidence? Direct first-hand knowledge??

For $7,800 I would expect a little more graceful exit of the rear derailleur's internal cable routing. It looks like someone punched it out, from the inside, with a screwdriver.
