I'll take a pair too. I have an early set of Universal levers dying for that.

Nice development effort, I was going to say be sure to use vacuum to pull out the air bubbles but it reads like they did, with two part materials, it pays to use vacuum after mixing the components and before introducing it to the mold, I am always surprised at the amount of air that gets introduced as part of the mixing operation. This effort reads a bit more analog than your earlier inquiry of having a tool cut from data.

I would also be able to use a pair or two. Two bikes with Universals.

I guess there are many different ways to formulate the materials. The mechanical assist is driving up the unit cost so It's better to get some new material. If anyone wants a basketball that is made of hood rubber, let me know.

Ill keep pressing on with this and will keep you all posted.

I have a set of Universal 77 levers that really need new hoods. Frank, any chance of getting a set of brown/tan hoods?

They were a different shaped body, were'nt they ? BTW, I have a nice, clean orphan hood for the 77's MA if it'll help you any.

making a mold from polyester resin should work well also, its less likly to bubble then epoxy.
