You are correct. My mistake, Alumicross = drop bars. Quickcross same frame as alumicross but with flat bar and Triplecross= steel frame with flat bar. Guess I forgot to dot my "i"s and "Cross:)" my tees(I mean bikes) before posting.

to be germane to the OP I would look at decent vintage/ early Cyclocross bike too as many came with nice frames and flat bars. also a flat bar conversion to one of these should work nicely too.
