I've got an '83 Trek 520 that I'm amassing parts for to do a conversion. Should be able to post it in a week or two.

My '85 Trek 420, currently wearing 700/35 slicks. Lots of room on this frame for big tires, this is my gravel bike.

1984 fuji espree mixtee. a work in progress, still waiting on some parts. it was a 6 speed and i needed a grandaddy gear, i had a 700c 7 speed araya wheelset left over from another upgrade with kenda kwest 35's. the brakes fit so on they went.

Here's my 1987 Miyata One Twelve Mixte. Originally came with 27" Araya rims, and now has 700c Velocity Dyad brushed silver rims with Pasela tires 700c x 32.

It's a 1983 Trek 630 frame that I got off of E-bay. Originally looked like this...

I had it powdercoated, put new decals on it, and then had it clearcoated. It was set up with flat bars and knobby cross tires like so.

Then I put these drops on it, added fenders, and tires more suited for the city (32's). It's running a Shimergo set-up using a 9-speed Shimano drivetrain with 10 speed Campy shifters. I had used it for commuting for my last job in its current form. Now it's just my go to ride around bike (drive to work). It was a good experience and I'm looking to do a similar build using an old Bridgestone 400 frame I've got laying around.

Thanks for asking!

It's given me a whole new appreciation for the versatility of 80's sport/touring bikes and 80's Treks in general.

I got a 27" road bike and then converted it to 700c running 35MM tires..............

It was nice and all, but the black rims were not for this bike so I did some upgrades and switched back to 27"........
