Please Help

Restoring a 1967 Robin Hood english 3 speed. I cant remove the crank arms!!!! I have already removed the cotter pins on both crank arms. I have WD40'd them and was able to remove the left crank arm. The right crank arm is attached to the crank its self. I dont own any bicycle specific tools but I dont think I need to for this project...what can I do?

If the LBS can't help, try a car mechanic. They've got pullers for this kind of thing. Or wedge a couple of really big screwdrivers in from opposite sides and pry them against each other. Or put the left side back on, cotter and all and see if you can spin it by putting your weight on it. A torch might help, too, careful, though.

Put the left crank arm back on and see if you can break the right arm loose by turning the spindle.

Wait....replace the left arm and do what? I don't understand......

Stick the left arm back on there, tap a cotter back into it to hold it in place, then basically stand on the pedals. This should break the right side free by rotating it, then you can pull it off.
