socket cap screws, M5

Call me anal, but I want all 20 of my braze-on screws to match. Does anyone know of a site that sells the taper-headed ones in the first pic? I'd settle for ones like in the second pic, but would then replace all 20.

They're 17mm long, M5 size, and stainless.
(I'd also like a supply of shorter ones, if possible.)

I found them in titanium, but hesitate to pay $2 apiece for them!

Eat your heart out at McMaster-Carr.

Ace Hardware sells some very nice stainless cap-head allen bolts with knurled heads. I like them a lot, though they don't taper.

Looks like Mr. Zhang has them. ;) Those tapered ones are nice.

Who is Mr. Zhang?

The fasteners in the first image are specialty parts for bicycles. Button socket head cap screws are in the second image available though mcmater-carr

Cool...thanks for the replies.
The McMaster-Carr site has the button-heads, 10mm thread length, for $.12 apiece. Gotta buy 100 at a time, that ought to last me a while!

jerseycycles.com has annodized aluminum or ti hardware. Not affiliated.

For reference Totally Stainless has stainless steel M5x10mm button head bolts for $.13, and there are no minimum requirements. They have a lot of other stainless steel hardware as well. I am a long-time (10+ years) satisfied customer. You can download their entire catalog in PDF form here.

I've used these guys in the past because they didn't have a minumum. They have button-head and socket-head screws in SS:

Ace Hardware, at least in my area, has a nice selection of SS metric hardwear.

Fastenal is also great for stuff like this.

Mr. Zhang is the guy who has his name on that first pic. May just be the Photographer. Don't know.
I was just being a smart aleck.
