Oh, no, Cinnamon's most definitely a keeper! Ever since I found this two-month-old kitten abandoned at our front door in October 2020, I've always had a special kind of love for her; she's as much my cat as she is our cat. She's always had issues with trust and abandonment that we're still working through with her to this day (she still reacts violently to being picked up and carried away, and she's not all that fond of being petted or cuddled.) We just had her spayed this week and we're watching for changes in her demeanor. She's already been abandoned once, and I'm not about to do that to her again.

Something really strange has been going on since last night: Cinnamon (right,) who has just been spayed last week, has been volunteering to foster Snickers' babies! We haven't the slightest idea as to why she's doing this, and we're a bit concerned over here!

Well, I'm sorry to report that things took a turn for the morbid last night: Cinnamon resorted to stealing Snickers' babies and hiding them under our bed! After she did that a few times and I took them back - and even wrestled a couple of them from her teeth - we eventually had to lock her out of the room.

Not sure I'd be trusting Cinamonns motives here,. I might be separating Cinamon from the kittens for a few weeks. Just curious why you have kittens at all ?, Are you breeding ?.

sjanzeir How many do you have at this point? Is that 10, with the kittens?

We had 12 at one point a few years ago when a stray we'd been feeding had her litter next to my backdoor.

...we can really sympathize with moms when they roll over onto their tummies with their legs spread out in the four directions...

they are saying to the kittens "i need a break for a few minutes"...
