How do they know "thats my human !". I have had many feral's in my back yard, not one has ever been bold enough to come over in a friendly manner, they all run like hell. Too bad, I'm a huge sucker for feral's and they all would have had a great home.

People have been tearing up my wife's phone right from the moment she posted the pictures on her group! I humbly suggested - merely suggested - that it would be great if we could keep the white one and the spotted one, but she shot that down really quickly - she gave me The Look and said that those are the ones she's being hounded for!

By the way we have another expecting mother waiting in the wings that we haven't even named yet! Oddly enough, I rescued her from the same place I had rescued Nala just a few days earlier, which may or may not mean that she'd been dumped by the same people. She's taken over my man-cave (because Nala is already occupying the spare room) and she's about to drop her litter any day now.

Bubba R.I.P.

Some may know of him, the famous FB cat that went to high school in Calif. Good cat. The FB post said this:

"It is with great sadness that I must inform Bubba’s loyal subjects of his passing early this morning. As many of you know, Bubba has survived several strokes in the last few months. At 3am this morning Bubba suffered a fatal stroke at the ripe old age of 17. He was surrounded by the people who love him most; Ashwini, Scott, and Rashida. (I must have been there in spirit because I awoke shortly before 4 dreaming that neighbors were bringing me Bubba’s body.)Bubba has lived with Ashwini since January. For the last several months, Bubba has been cared for by these neighbors, his chosen people.

From the beginning, Bubba carved out a singular existence in this world. He was loved by thousands, and he returned those affections. Many students have shared with me that Bubba’s presence at Bret Harte and Leland made their time there more enjoyable. He graced many classrooms with his charm, and teachers grew to accept his orange self strutting through their lessons. He made the yearbook, the senior magazine, and the local newspaper when he was given his school ID card so many years ago. He showed up for Senior night, school plays, sporting events and school dances. He refused to have his freedom curtailed by anything as mundane as a door and roared incessantly if I dared to shut him inside. That cat had a mission in this world, and no mere human was going to stand in his way. ❤️

RIP TO A LEGEND."

One more of this little sweetie. She’s almost 6 months old now, and still just as cute and funny!

RIP my little guy. You were loved tremendously. Had to put him down last night...

My condolences for your loss. Been there too many times.

We get so damn attached to them it's really hard to let go - even when it's time.

Very sorry for your loss. We lost our near 21 year old, Zoey, just 3 weeks ago. They never really leave you though, they are always remembered .

I have another litter which ended up being a little short, but I have one very cute tabby/tortie/calico, and one more blotchy male tabby.

All are going up for adoption very soon. Willamette Valley, from Eugene to Portland.

Thank you all for the kind words. Luckily he wasnt in pain for more than 30 minutes. A trooper till the end. I've had pets die on me but this is the first one I had to make the decision to end it. Fun kicker, my best friend had his first child the same day. Life is hard.

My mom was wondering about the same thing just now! 😄

Those are super cute kitties you got there. We might be keeping the spotted one after all, but that's still an ongoing debate with the Missus.
