I just thought it was an odd thing to see this particular thread on a bike forum. And I was a little mad at myself for not being able to find the picture of my cat sitting on my recumbent... Come to think of it, wrong thread for that too...

My old room mate's dog(Einstein) and my cat (Max) were pretty good pals. Max would just let him chew on his head and ears, and get him all slobbery. And Max would also get to hold down Einstein for a cleaning sometimes too. It was pretty cute.

As far as sleeping positions. Kit Carson likes the "loaf of bread" position. If his nose gets chilly, he will turn his paw pads up, and sleep face down in his paws. Pretty adorable, but he always moves before I can get a picture of him.,,,,BD

I grew up on a dairy farm. Getting cats to do that is easier than getting a dog to sit.
It's the aim that's hard. Cats generally do not live long in that environment, however.

Here's Sacha (again!) just a few minutes before I jumped in the car to head back up to WA:

I'm in West Yellowstone, Montana tonight and plan on making the circuit in the Park tomorrow before (hopefully) ending up in Missoula (home of Dennis Sparrow custom frames, don't you know) at the end of the day. I plan to meet up with Scott (scozim) in Ellensburg on Thursday before getting all the way home to Lynnwood later that same night.

@ Drillium Dude - I really like your orange stripey cat. I had the privilege of living with a long haired orange stripey cat for 17 years. He was wonderful. I think everyone should have an orange cat at least once...there's something about them.

Heh. Took that at the zoo outside Belize City last February. A wonderful place. We got lucky to see the big cats there. All rescued animals. No purchased or wild caught animals.
