Joshua came with my current rental. She's a rugged, hearty, loving beast.
(I found out she's a 'she' long after the name had stuck. No sense in confusing her now...she does actually respond to her name - as best as a stray cat will at least).
I'm allergic so she's an indoor cat in the worst of the winter for now, free-range for the rest. She eats quite well with full grooming service. Maybe I should become a recently adopted stray...

Her transformation from reclusive to mildly social is quite remarkable, and the improvements have yet to cease. She'll be coming with me when I move.

Mine do the same thing when I bring home another bike. But I think it's because cats like to spray bike wheels to mark them. I think they do that because you ride over cat pee on the roads, and come home with scent on your tires. I think they can smell two atoms of cat pee that is 1000 years old or something ridiculous like that. Anyhoo. cats love to sniff a new 'old' bicycle... That is a fact..

Winnie, checking the sky for birds. This is the most agile cat I've seen in years. She runs like a Cheetah, and trots on Oak branches 30 feet in the air, like she's on flat ground. She gets on the roof as well, with ease.,,,,BD

Thanks guys. She went from a scawny runtish warehouse kitten to this. You should see her when it starts to get dark each night, catching bugs. She looks like a tiny Border Collie playing frisbee., Search border collie zoe on you tube, to get the general idea.,,,BD

My Minky, the darker one above, loves moths. Eats them like candy. The other one couldn't care less about bugs. But woe be to a small rodent that gets in her vicinity.

Can't take credit for this one, but it's cycling related since the owner is celebrated. The photo can't sum it up any better in my opinion. Touching.
I had shared many a moment similarly with my cats.

Not sure if I already posted it. There's a pic of Ricky the orange/white cat wearing a snowboarder style hat, complete with ear holes. Pretty hilarious.,,,,BD

This is my daughters cat, Willow. It was the first time she found the shelves. This was also one of the few time she tried to ventured outside my daughter's room.

Monte is eleven years old. Rescued from the street as a wee little kitten, not even weaned. His mother and origin are unknown. Could be that he had been dumped?
I spotted him in the headlights of our Monte Carlo and this is how he got his name. Our capturing him that rainy night was his destiny. These are commitments we make for life.

Both former strays who showed up in the winter, the orange one (Victoria) 4 years ago, the black and white one (Anton) showed up with Olivia on the porch a year ago and kept trying to sneak into the house, so we just kept him. They still like to spend most of their time outdoors, even getting them to stay indoors during snow storms is a hassle.

Wow, Hoss. I know some cats last longer than 19 years, but that is still a ripe old age for a feline. Happy B-Day Runtly.
