maybe you guys should join a vintage cat forum so you can add value.

rootboy, my view is that people are free to say they don't like cats. I can live with it. If they do so humorously, all the better.
I mean, hey, let's be honest. If your friends or roommates acted like cats or dogs, you might not keep them. |

"Me? I wasn't clawing at the couch. My claw isn't stuck in the couch... I'm... I'm... I'm holding it up because the fat blorby cat is crushing the arm. Yes. That's it. I'm holding up the couch. Not stuck here with my claw stuck in the couch. Holding it up. Yup." |

At least this thread is not subtracting value. As is this comment above.
it's just all crap, you can't really differentiate. This cat thread is crap, my comment on your cat thread is crap. If my comment made you angry, that's one thing, but acting like my comment is any more of a detractor from talking about vintage bikes than this thread of nonsense, well that's just ridiculous. |
this is gus, looking through the bamboo in the back garden.
http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3651/3...78fc430cf9.jpg he's always hunting, but mostly only passively so. he sleeps primarily. he's a cat. http://farm4.staticflickr.com/3413/3...1a3a970557.jpg i was telling a friend at brunch yesterday, gus hadn't left me any little dead critter at my door in several months, then last night i see a cute little mouse sitting idle on the cement stair. the tiny rodent was missing its upper half -- no head. its fluffy fur looked really cute, even in that lifeless state next to the long ugly tail, bright red spot of blood, and grey gut organs exposed. i felt sad ... and humored at what i had said earlier in the day. i used to be a dog person. now i like cats. i've always liked bikes. |

Our very well fed cat named Orbit.

It's as close to a cat that I have right now, plus the biking cap fits! Used to have cats when I was a kid, but my home is never big enough to own any pets as an adult.....:( Chombi |

Cats know you just bought another bike.
Cats know you ate all the Girl Scout cookies. Cats know everything, or act like they do. That's why a dumb cat is so hilarious. It's like it didn't get the memo. |

Six in the home, two in the warehouse at the business, and ten at the wife's art studio. We have finally got the feral colony under control in our neighborhood. We have so many because we cannot stand taking them to the shelter to be killed. Ten of our cats are abandoned pets, the rest are adopted ferals. |
Here's Callie (RIP), a rescue that we had for about 17 years.
http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/m...psd8b7207d.jpg And here's Dumpster. We call him that because it's where I found him when he was the size of a coke can. http://i298.photobucket.com/albums/m...ps5f7ae317.jpg |

http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=305308 ... We have 18 cats, all spayed, neutered and vaccinated. I also think it's funny that animals such as dogs and cats will show *zero* interest in watermelon until it's split open. Once they realize that it has a nice flavor, they will lick it. The same is true of grapes. We had a dog that couldn't figure out grapes unless they were cut in half. |
my childhood dog, a dachshund, would chew a grape for ten or twenty seconds then spit it out in its perfectly round, original shape. what the..?
hoss, glad you can afford to do what you do. the names for your cats (larry, runtly and wally) are pretty funny. runtly reminds me of one of the hanna barbera 'really rottens.' |

My wife and I love animals in general and feel bad we can't take in more than we do. Our schedule and travel makes pets a real challenge. (typically gone 4-6 days a week) but we support the local no kill shelter and occasionally host some animals when we can). Aaron :) |

No, I'm not angry. This thread is a distraction from the vintage bike theme, but not a detractor, as would seem obvious from all the participation. I think that was the point.
