There's a wonderful bit of satisfaction in these little jobs!

Looks good to me. You don't even need to take them apart to clean them.

Miyata110 03-21-13 09:20 AM

Fun before I start, fun after I'm done, frustrating as heck while I'm working on it! :bang:

Oh, sure, that looks like about an hour of cleaning, polishing, oiling, and reassembling, followed by weeks of scouring ebay for the missing parts. :thumb:

Those are the jobs I really like. Making those look like new, or relatively close is very rewarding.

You betcha.

Best therapy this side of massage, and you don't have to buy anyone dinner.

I spent an hour overhauling an RX100 RD the other day. Enjoyed every minute.

Nope. Have at it.

I wouldn't touch that pile unless I had a beer open and the radio on.

nlerner 03-21-13 09:52 AM

Pile of . . . .

Only for rocks... But suddenly I'm inspired! Any method to that madness?

Sounds like a perfect Saturday night. You can get the paint nice and shiny on the crown and bridge while you're in there.
