Bill Walton used to ride a 72-73cm. Walton of course used to live in SoCal (where the seller is) around when this bike would have been built. Makes me wonder if it could have been his. |
I would buy this in a heartbeat if I had a grand kicking around for a frame.
|
Looks like a touring bike, with canti studs and rack mounts; including mid fork mounts for low rider rack. That is an interesting bike. A rarity in that size for sure.

In his book, Bill Walton talks about a 25.5 " Green Bertin, a Falcon Road Bike, a Falcon Track Bike, and a Nishiki, for stock bikes, up until 1984, when he wrote Bill Walton's Total Book of Bicycling with Bjarne Rostiang.

That thing'd make a sweet fixie.
|
A tall (rich) person.
|
And I thought I was tall.

I remember seeing Walton's giant bike, but I have only heard of him riding track bikes. Who knows though.

No, he rides all kinds of bikes and has for years. Used to ride his bike to games while playing at UCLA. Now he rides a custom Holland Ti.
