Here's a few pictures. Seller calls it a vintage Raleigh Roadmaster Gents 4 speed. Can anyone tell me if that's correct and what year it is?

Any information is appreciated. Thanks!

Look on the rear hub's barrel for a year and month.

'57 6' would indicate June 1957 (for example). If the hub is original to the bike, that will help date the bike.

Just found this information from the seller regarding markings on rear hub: Sturmey Archer 48 10 and a list of patent numbers for GB USA and Swiss. So I guess the hub is at least from a bike built in October of 48?
