Mavic 195 rims
Anyone know anything about Mavic 195 rims? Are they good?
Thank you all! :p |
I know this thread is 2 years old, but for 32 spokes I now have these (just reacquired) and "Velocity Aero". Initially I thought to use the 195's being they are at least 20 years old, cheap and appear to be some kind of OEM jobber. However, like another poster stated, they are really light. The question is which one can hold more weight (I'm 240lbs). I'd guess the 195's and I know hub material/form and spoke material play in of course, but they are somewhat lighter than the "Velocity Aero" (light enough to tell by hand, I have no scale).
The only thing I know about them is that they came stock on my 1994 Cannondale R600. By the look of the sticker, I'd say they are rebadged from another model (based on hub??). These had to be very common in the 90's, but I can't find the wight limit on them, or anything at all really. 1994 Cannondale R-600 - BikePedia |
