Miyata Ridge Runner YR model
Hi!

I'm trying to find out the year model of this Miyata Ridge Runner, it has combination of carbon fiber and aluminum frame.

Date codes on some of the components could give you an idea given they're original.

That is a model for the Japanese market. In EU and US a frame with those characteristcs would be a 1991 MY frame.

Btw you say carbon/aluminum. There is a 3rd material: steel for tail and fork.

1991 Koga-Miyata TerraRunner Carbolite (EU)
-3x carbon tubing in front triangle
-aluminum lugs
-steel tail and fork



1991 Miyata Team (US)
- all aluminum frame
- steel fork



A couple things that are typical for the 1991 modelyear:
- 1-1/8 headtube
- 73mm shell
- slimmed down Yoke
- toptube routing
