Nelli and Mikes first ride of the season.
today is a holiday, and the local association organized a trip up to the next town(45kms away)
Nelli has tried F. Moser but now I fine tuned it.
We met with the other members and started off.

Nelli was ready to go..

We visited the Train Museum, for some reason this was my favorite Steam Engine...

We had a guided tour....

Outside was this lovely Raliegh parked...well worth a picture or 2

And an almost perfect brother to my Flying Arrow-this one was labeled as a DBS..

As it was a holiday, a "certain" car club had a national meeting at the train museum....over 200 of them parked in the parking lot...
I taped my mouth shut...best not voice my opinion,(like cheering for the visiting team at a hockey game!)

this one was cool-the guy put a v6 in it, and pulled the nose forward to make it fit, and chopped the top.

We then ate lunch, and took the local train home...Nelli has a birthday party to attend.

and so our day ended, I got a flat, but I managed to swap the tubie in less then 5 minutes and catch up to the peloton

Mike, thanks for sharing. It's great that you and your daughter get to spend quality saddle time together. My 4-yr-old daughter just took her first ride without training wheels the other day. I look forward to the day she can ride like Nelli!

It looks like you wore Nelli out at the end there. A trip on bikes to see trains, with your daughter, I can't imagine a more perfect day.

Trains and bikes AND old Saabs, what a combination. Back in the day I had a buddy with a Saab 95, what always cracked me up was when the engine would get a bit off time and run backwards. Put the car in first and it would start backing up.
