Witcomb USA
On Ebay at this time is a 1975 Witcomb USA (auction #221223494281). A very interesting bike. It seems this shop was sort of a ground zero for east coast frame building at that time, as it employed Richard Sachs, Chris Chance (later of Fat City Cycles) and Peter (JP) Weigle. My question is; is there any way to tell who of these three might have built this bike? Perhaps all had a hand in it's constuction. Any insights would be appreciated. Cheers!

Well if there is anything particularly special about it you might be able to contact one of the names(peters pretty good at answering questions on Flickr) I saw an extremely large (70cm) whitcomb USA frame and jokingly asked if Peter built it and to my surprise the seller had actually talked to Peter and he remembered building it since it was such a monster!

You know Richard actually is a member of the forum and posts every once and awhile. I would just call him up directly and ask the man himself.
