Old spring type derailleur housing replacements

I'm putting together an olmo, mid 80's I think and the rear chainstay braze on is very small for the old spring type housing. What do I use? Can you still purchase that stuff anywhere? I have pretty small housing caps but they won't fit in there, and the housing itself fits but works through the hole and loosens up. Any ideas? Thanks. Al.

Loose screws has ends that are the correct size to fit with new housing and older frame braze ons.

A problem with which I am familiar:

https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...p-down-ferrule

I ended up getting a step-down ferrule that works perfectly (fairly narrow step-down portion, and long...different from more common step-down ferrules) at one LBS, but only after trying at least four or five others...
