Non classic paintwork on retro steel frames

A challenge no doubt, but i am looking for a newly made classic (cable running thru the toptube) lugged steel frame set.

There are several italian company's that do that today however my biggest problem is the paint scheme it's so 'plain jane'.

Either it's one colour or at the most one or two panels in contrasting colours.

What i'm looking for is say the colnago master kinda paintwork. More special a bit more oemph or pop or called it what you like.

Is there anybody that knows a framebuilder that can meet my requist.

I'm not looking for something to create myself it has to be from the factory.

If you know something do let me know.

Landshark comes to mind. Like Micheal Angelo said, pretty much any frame builder can get a silly paint job done for you if that's what you want. Colnago is still making bicycles with obnoxious paint as well...even more garish than before.

This is pretty wild paint - it was done by Fresh Frame in York. No clue what they charge.

These are very nice https://www.pegoretticicli.com/home
As said before, any number of custom builders, heres one https://www.spectrum-cycles.com/

I think Landshark are only Crabon now, no more steel. Still have crazy paint, though.

Fresh Frames has some really cool work on their website https://freshframe-oem.com/frontpage.cfm
Too busy with OEM for refinish work, they have the builders they work with listed.

KAS, no pictures of your bike on their page, but lots of Bilenky, maybe they have some of yours being sprayed?

Could be! I liked Fresh Frames note to builders - basically don't expect us to cover up your mistakes.

Why not Colnago?

This Master Decor has top tube cable routing, https://www.ebay.com/itm/121106275260...84.m1438.l2649

Same as this Losa, https://www.ebay.com/itm/121105987012...84.m1438.l2649

Thanks for all the links and advice, but i still can't see a paintjob that makes me jump out of my chair.

I know i can order my desired paintwork from the bike builders, but the problem is i do know what i don't want, but not vice versa.
I know it when i see it and so far i haven't.

I'm not in the market for a master as i already have one and i like that a lot so i guess all i have to do is look at many pix and see if there is something i like and than go from there.

Toby Stanton at Hot Tubes. He can build it, he can paint it. https://www.hottubes.com/Home.html

If you're on a strict budget, get a '92 Series Paramount, have Toby paint it.

That's the style! I actually don't understand the low artistic level of todays paint jobs. I would like to se modern carbon frames like those 80s frames (and some 90s). And don't forget one of my favourites, Somec!

You couldn't do it with a modern bike because it would clash with the 300 logos.

Finally i found 'the' bike that i wanted and here in this forum believe it or not.
This is a factory original paintwork and that was what i was after not some local painter doing the paintwork as that wouldn't be factory original.

What a knockout of a paintwork that is

I have two Tommasinis atm.

My Sintesi is quite an eyeful, while the Super Prestige is a little more subdued.

Wait till you ride one.

You are in for a treat.

That's what i read over and over.
Tell me what makes the difference?

I know have a custom made modern steel ride with CF fork and oval tubing.

The only thing i can imagine is that the change in fork makes the toma ride less stiff other than that i can't think of anything else.

Mostly true.

I've been lusting over a Cannondale CAAD 10 Black Inc.

I don't want the Shimano electronics, so I have been waiting for a frameset option.

I have a Chorus gruppo and some black Record hubs.

Add some H Plus Son rims and it would be a beast.

BTW I've ridden CAAD10s a couple of times this spring and they are rocketships.
