Check out this thread. There is also Swedish brand that has Miki Sakai frames.

@non-fixie, @Hummer,

No worries at all.....this is a platform for all of us to share and learn info about steel bike

I am just the thread starter, but not the owner of this platform...

It is always good to get the frame identified at least you know the heritage of it.

I never thought to compare the two. I'll do so tonight when I get home.
I have an Alimo E racing bike with serial -wait for it- M1B09061. I knew the thing wasn't Italian.

Well, I'll be! Does it look anything like my frames? Any chance of a picture? A quick search turned op this Alimo, on a local dealer site. The ad copy even states that the frame is a 'Miki Sakai'.

I haven't taken any close ups yet. Maybe today. Dropouts say Shimano ST.

I really don't like that photobucket. Isn't there any other way to post pics?

Thanks for the pics. From where I'm sitting that frame looks identical to the two that I have.

WRT the posting of pictures, you can use just about any picture hosting site. I use one that's not free, as I don't like the free ones very much either. You can also upload to this site, but I haven't yet found out how it works on the current version.
