hmmm, I don't see clubs in the fork crown, and no other shots of lugs with club cutouts either.

I too have major doubts about it actually being a Colnago. Look at the file work at the rear dropouts...

This is a Colnago Molteni 1970

with "Asso di Fiori".

But this is a Colnago 1968
8,
without "Asso di fiori" (it was introduced by Colnago in 1970).

May be the bike on e-bay is a Colnago before 1970.

I think of that as an orange Colnago. This seems a bit more Molteni orange.

Ha, I just bought a quart of paint, and took my fork along, to try to get it matched. Bottecchia blue is a tough color to reproduce, apparently. But the girl definitely made the effort, and I gave her a $5 tip. I just don't think I can use a whole quart, even if it does match well, LOL.
