I know it was not offered in the catalog, but The original and second owner absolutely did not chrome it. It is consistent with a 72' chrome P-15 That just went to a new home. I believe a few were made after they stopped putting it in the catalog. I have a 78' with original paint in a color that was also not offered in the catalog.

I would add to Pastor Bob's comment on Chicago chrome quality of the chrome on the full chrome frames is of a higher quality than on the painted frames. At least in my modest collection it is very noticeably better.

I have contacted Waterford Precision Bikes for a provenance report. Once I have that I will decide what to do next. In the mean time I will put drop bars back on and replace the triple up front with a double. Since there is a lot of Shimano tri color on it already I will use that group to finish the hardware off. I will then ride it.

I got this bike all redone with drop bars and a 600 try color group set and rode it a week ago Sunday. It awesome to ride but due to intervening triple bypass surgery I have to wait a few weeks to ride it again. While in the hospital I got my report from Waterford stating that the bike it a P13 deluxe originally in chrome assembled Jan/Feb 1972 and shipped to Wheat Ridge Cyclry Wheat Ridge Co on or about Feb 9 1972. I guess I have a lot of time to decide what to do with it. I do know proper decals need to go on it and the clear coat must go.

^^^^^^^ Gorgeous bicycle, what year is it?

The chrome quality is unreal.

Edit; I read in your signature you have a P65 from 73', I just don't know enough to know if this is a P65

I need to update my sig.....if I remember correctly it's a '73 P13-9 I bought from the original owner. It was sold awhile back.....along with the P65 and P14. Apparently I didn't label my album with the year and I cant find the threads about it and apparently I've owned a lot of Paramounts!!! My latest acquisitions put me at maybe 8 or 9 in the past 5 years.
