LeMond steel from the 80's .... Questions

I've noticed differences in the seat tube decal that has a picture of France.

Bike 1 says 'junior world champion '79' 'world champion '83' and then 'tour de France '86' in ribbon form. Unknown tubing and painted two tone yellow and blue. USA On top tube.

Bike 2 doesn't have the 'tour de France '86 ribbon but it says 'tour de France '86' within the border of the country of France. This bike is TSX tubing and is all yellow. 'Maillot Jaune' on top tube.

I'm guessing these are '87-'89 models as neither mentions his '89 Tour Victory or WC.

Pics in a few....

Yea, I saw that to, unfortunately the rest of that bike has high mileage 7400 Dura Ace and the other bike with TSX has Chorus or Athena. In all honesty I'm not overly interested in either but I need to put in my due diligence.

My uninformed guess is they are both Billato built bikes, not Della Santa.

Probably really nice bikes, but not worth a premium like a Roland built bike.

You were asking for valuation guess, right

No, not asking about valuation.....I already know what I'd pay. More about the differences in the frames from that time period I guess. He couldn't gave made too many different models. The yellow one has Campy dropouts the two tone bike has Columbus.

As you are full aware, without detailed pictures of all the important parts, anything is just a very wild guess.
