What threads are on my Zeus hub?

I just built some Rigidas with high flange Zeus hubs from the 70's. I was about to throw a freewheel on then i realized i have no clue what threads they are. I was hoping a Regina or Suntour will work, don't want to find a Zeus freewheel.

As I remember, there was a thread this was mentioned in not too long ago Owen, but I can't remember which one. Maybe a search.
I was surprised but, it very well could be French, I think someone espoused.

the ones I have had were french

I think the gist of the other thread was to assume french threading unless marked otherwise.

Use a Shimano, sunshine, JoyTech or Normandy axle as a thread guage, against a lighted background like your monitor!

French threads match the 1mm pitch (25.4tpi) of the listed axles, front or rear.

An English or Italian bottom bracket cup is 24tpi, so would match an English/Italian hub.

An English freewheel usually threads easily onto any hub threads, but a French freewheel will only thread fully onto a French-threaded hub without force during the last couple of turns. Oil the threads before testing.

I remember those posts saying that they are French.....
I would have suspected they most likely English and/or Italian threaded. Plus, I don't think the Zeus 2000 FW I have on one of my bikes is French threaded. More likely English, but I do have to double check.....

English thread Zeus hubs should have "BSC" stamped in the barrel of the hub:

Metric thread Zeus hubs are unmarked. I'm not aware that Zeus offered Italian thread hubs.

The inside body of an English thread Zeus freewheel will be marked with a "B" (for BSC):

Again, metric Zeus freewheels are unmarked.
