A Deyas Frame (Information Please?!)
Hello,
A friend recently purchased a fully chromed frame that has DEYAS cast/stamped into the head tube, top eyes and fork crown.
The fork crown has external reinforcing tangs that make it all very Italian looking.
The rear brake bridge has a capital G. Is this Gipiemme or Galli or some other?
Campagnolo dropouts and a slotted bottom bracket shell. Race pedigree?!
I'll get any frame numbers that may be stamped but in the meantime if you could cast an informed eye over the pictures...
Any information will be gratefully received. I'm a Holdsworth collector and know very little about our European cousins!
Yours in cycling.

never seen that brand before, but you are right to think it's very Italianate, check the BB threading to confirm it.
The brake bridge is either a GPM (Gipiemme) or a Cinelli bit, but the "G" engraved on it has nothing to do with the mfgr. of that piece, it probably has something to do with "Deyas" (a name that doesn't scan as Italian, to my eye).
Sure looks nice...
