Red, white, and blue OK? Mine was made in Greenville MS in June 1988, and I even bought it from a San Diego firefighter. Schwinn dropped the Paramountain name in favor of King of the Mountains for 1988. This looks very much like mine, except that I have a SunTour Rollercam front brake and now an 8-speed cassette. With brand new grease and ball bearings in the bottom bracket, mine is all ready for the annual edge-of-the-continent Neptune Av. 4th of July parade.

You can see me (yellow cycling jacket, very early in the video) committing a faux pas by riding my Peugeot (sacre bleu!) in last year's parade.

Hujsak

...mid 80s frame built by Skip Hujsak. Custom painted by Hujsak for fellow Texan Robert "Woody" Woodrow. I bought it from his son a couple of years ago and recently passed along to BF member.

My 93 Barracuda AT2 with replaced front fork

1984 Speciallized Allez

1999 Schwinn Peleton (I don't know why the seat looks so cockeyed)

The Schwinn is not really C&V but the American flag bar tape pushed it over the edge; the Barracuda is the only bike actually made in America.
