Tool score with lots of patina
I got a bunch of old bike shop tools. I have no idea what some were used for. Most pieces have seen a lot of use for sure. Hard to say how old they are.
Tool#1:
The pin fits into the hole of the other piece which was made in Holland by GK-Gebr. Koets in Hoogkerk. The top is completely dented from numerous blows with a hammer.
Any idea what this one was used for? They're made of solid steel so the two pieces way a ton.

Tool #2 looks like something to remove a threaded outboard bearing race from a FW like on some 80's Maillards...... But it also looks like it could be for cutting/beveling the inner lip of a tube end??
Tool #6 could be a BB fixed cup or adjustable lockring remover.

does the 2nd tool have threads at the end of that rod and spring bit? I can't tell how big those splines are but looks like it could be a bottom bracket tool, and would thread into the spindle locking the tool in place allowing more leverage. Tacx makes a similar locking tool.
4 is possibly a wrench for the old style shimano 600 and DA star style headsets but I've never used one so Im
not positive.
5 could be for checking wheel dish on a particular truing stand.
at first 6 looked like it would fit a campy cartridge BB, veloce or similar but after looking back I don't know if a spindle would fit through that hole.
Those are my best guesses looking forward to seeing what they really are!

I only recognize the red bodied adjustable die stock, a fairly common plumber's tool, etc. But it may be fitted with some scarce thread dies for axles, etc. That long crown race remover looks very nice. Can we see a pic of that? Great find.

yep, I think you-all got most of these right:
2 is a BB tool, looks like it may fit the standard Shimano cartridge cup
3 probably also for the BB, maybe used together with such tools as
6 which looks like it fits the 'scalloped' cups on such BB as Thun and some nasty Campy units, as well as F*G, a well-known German bearing brand (that gets auto-censored)
4 has to be a "pocket" wrench for the wavy Shimano headset nuts, not enough leverage for a shop tool.
7 has to be a lever for straightening/bending something, but can't figure out what...yet...
very nice haul, including the other no-mystery units...tools are good.

Tool 3 is a fixed cup remover. Shop version of Sheldon Brown tool. See post 18 of this thread for a pic of Park Tool version. https://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...ple-BB-Spindle

the HKC (which looks identical to a Hozan) has a die in place: is it a standard ISO fork steerer die or something more exotic (adjustable die?)? Die should be marked with its size which you can read once you remove the plate.

After browsing the vintage tool section of velobase I got some of my answers:
Tool #1. The sad thing is that the shorter part got lost either in the plane or on the airport during my flight between Amsterdam and Chicago. Security might have wondered what this 2 pound metal piece possibly could have been. When I arrived and opened my luggage it was gone. I put in a claim for lost item but am not very hopeful to get it back.
Tool #2 - indeed is to install a Shimano bottom bracket cartridge. The pin screws into the spindle. Works like a charm.
Tool #3 - supposedly is to remove a fixed cup (like Sheldon Brown's tool) but I'm still not sure how it would work.
Tool #4 - I thought for a second that it is for the scalloped Shimano 600 head set but that does not make sense, should have been open ended.
Tool #5 - Fixed cup remover, definitely want to try this one.
Tool #6 - Velobase has it listed as Cartridge BB tool
Tool #7 - who knows??? Definitely some kind of straightener
Here are more pictures of some of the other parts. I do know what these are for:
I love this head set punch - Cyclus Tools (super heavy)

This crown care remover is very cool as well (and heavy)

Still more pictures to come...
