mavic seat post

So i'm trying to help a friend out with a build and he wanted a mavic seat post for his mavic group. Unfortunately all i've seen is black. did they every make a silver one? i mean i suppose you can go with a nice campy aero seat post but that may clash with the mavic group he has.

what do you guys use for mavic grouppos for seat posts?

I've never, ever, ever worried about matching my seatpost to the gruppo on my bike.

I've only seen them in anodized black finish as you picture shows....
Not the best finish on something that you might have to adjust/slide up or down in a seat tube.... Not the smartest design decision by Mavic. Maybe that's why you don't see too many of them out there mounted on bikes.....
You can just take off the black anodizing with some oven cleaner and polish it up, I guess, if you insist on a silver finished Mavic seat post....
I have Mavic drivetrains on almost all my bikes and I never found the need to look for their seatost because of the the reasons I stated and they are so silly expensive...

But being anodized, is less likely to get stuck.

I bought the first Mavic SSC group to arrive in Canada in the 80's. It did include bars and stem but no seatpost. I don't believe that I ever even saw one before the second half of the 80's
