1976 schwinn varsity bicentennial
Last week at work, one of my customers was admiring the classic bike slideshow on my pc and commented that had an old Schwinn
He wanted to give me. So this afternoon he comes by with a 58cm bicentennial varsity and and a box full of schwinn parts and accessories. The bike needs a little cleaning and some new tires, otherwise it's all original. What the heck am I going to do with a varsity ??
Pictures tomorrow.

You know, those old gas pipe frames are fun to bomb around on. I'd tune that sucker up and ride it.

Clean it, tune it up and ride the hell out of it.
I always wanted Schwinn bikes growing up, but always got Western Flyers. When I got my own money I bought several Schwinns, most were stolen along the way. Then I discovered the true lightweights...

Still learning
Pair it up with this one, get some Fez hats and ride them in your local parades!
