Built this 2007 Buenos Aires up from a frame I bought new in 2007 to replace a TREK 5200 I had since 1997. First, pic is after I installed Record 10spd, second pic is after I installed Chorus 11spd this year.
I always wanted an 853 Zurich and I was always torn which color looked better, the red or white version. I ultimately got the red, but would still love a white version. The 10spd Record came from my Buenos Aires above. 1998 Zurich.

I recently completed this build, my first bike with tires larger than 25mm, LOL. It's a 2003 Wayzata (same frame as the Poprad) built as my mixed terrain bike.

I ended up selling this, as it was too small for me. Miraculously, I found someone with an extremely similar frame in my size, so we traded. The new one isn't as handsome, but it fits. The new one has a carbon fiber fork. I moved the components from the previous frame. Later, I converted it to 650b wheels.

Love my Poprad. I need to figure out how to touch up or replace the decals. It would improve the appearance a bunch. They are under clear coat so probably touch up is best.

Yeah on my wife's bike the Lemond logo is getting some spots in some places... Its a beautiful logo, you have to be in person but the white has pearlescent look to it.

Yeah, that's part of the reason I haven't just tried to slap on some white testors. That pearlescence is going to make it harder to match. I could probably take it into a drug store and match some nail polish or testors, but I'm staying out of stores except when necessary.

If I remember, I think the it weighs about 18.5 pounds? It is one of my favorites with a fast yet comfortable ride.

Yes I'm happy with the frameset, though I haven't been able to ride it since the beginning of the pandemic, as I moved out of the city for now, and that's where the bike lives. I have work to do on the bike because the 650b wheels have a 7-speed freewheel, and the gears are 10-speed. It works better than you would expect. My plans are rather elaborate, building a new rear wheel and probably switching to Shimano gearing since I have most of the equipment on hand. But the 38mm tires only have about 1mm of clearance at the chain stays, and I'm nervous enough to feel it's not a permanent setup. I could either go back to 700c or get some 32mm tires for the 650b wheels. In any case, the 650b wheels add weight so it's not a super light fast rider, but it's very pleasant. I haven't taken it for a long ride in a long time, so I can't speak of how good it is at that.

My Tourmalet. It’s just lowly True Temper double butted but it has a super comfy ride. Sadly I am putting this up for sale because I am out of garage space!

My Scapin built Lemond Professional fresh off the stand for a rebuild. I grabbed the saddle off eBay last year. It is a nice touch. I should have put the chain in the big ring...

Sorry for the poor picture. It's the only one that I could dig up. I had to clear the house for the wife's relatives coming in back at the start of the year and all of the bikes were banished to the garage. The Zurich has one of the prettier paint jobs, and unique to the other Lemonds. One of the faster bikes that I have.
