gran compe levers

I accidentally removed the return spring on one of my Dia Compe Gran Compe aero levers. My infamous lack of dexterity over the years has netted me the nickname "Mittens". Anybody out there have any tips on replacing this thing? I can see clearly how it needs to go back, but believe it will take me hours to do it, IF I don't first lose the screw.
Thanks.

I can't help you with reinstallation- however, you may wish to put the screw/spring thing in a baggie and tape it to the frame.

There are duck bill pliers at any hardware store, longer than normal needle nose pliers, that or forceps? There room for either of these?

I have some forceps. I'll give it a go. Thanks, and thank you too, golden boy.
