Vintage Parts in Tulsa, OK

If you check out the Tulsa, OK area craigslist you'll notice quite a few posts from Skiatook, OK. He's a bike farmer and has bought out a couple small town shops that have closed down. I've swung by there a couple times and he seems like a nice guy that likes to tinker. He has an impressive amount of NOS parts that seem like they might be tough to find. Just throwing this out there if someone is looking for that little piece to complete a project. Not trying to shill, i have no connection to him other than as a customer.

i think i contacted him once, and he never wrote back.

what's your favorite c&v shop in tulsa? i'm going to pickup a miyata in a couple months, and i'll need the basics: cable, pedals, bearings, etc.

and if you've ever ridden out to owasso (where i'll be), send me your route, or list it here. thanks.

C&V shop in Tulsa? G Oscar downtown for sure. His hours are a bit funky and I'd know exactly what you want when you go there, but he's got all the old stuff. You might have to locate it yourself though, it's a bit disorganized in there.

I haven't done any rides out to Owasso yet, but if you're not afraid of traffic it seems like you could come straight down on one of the main north/south roads then join up with the inner city bike routes or jump on the Mingo trail. Today was my first ride on the Osage Prairie and it was nice.
