Small parts needed...source?

My Dia Compe levers had only one of these unusual ferrules, with the little wire clip. (The other side had a lever mounted mirror and no ferrule.) I'm sure no one sells them, but would somebody have one floating around that they could part with? If not...where would I buy the standard version?

Secondly, I'm looking for some braze-on cable stops since I'm switching to bar-end shifters. The bike is a 1985 Nishiki Cresta GT. Will most any stops fit, or do I have to be careful what kind I buy? Again, if anyone has vintage stops laying around I'd be glad to strike up a deal with you.

You can PM me about the cable stops I have a couple of sets off Shimano alloys with adjusters I would sell at a reasonable price.

I have some of those Dia-Compe ferrules with the clips.

Surpised you have some with the clips I have several sans clips. Also as heads up for the OP standard Diacompes without clips will work.

Yeah, I have a habit of hoarding weird tiny harder-to-find parts.

Also,

Beyond that, eBay; a well-stocked LBS; or stripping them off of old frames.

I think that all that circular "clip" does is retain the ferrule on the brake lever body when the cables are removed from them, A regular one without the clip should work too, and there are lots of them out there, If you get the "clip-less" ones, just watch out where the ferrule goes every time you remove the brake cables and casings from the lever body.....

No ferrules listed at the moment, but I've them in the past here:
