The guy mentioned in the article with the broken ribs and collarbone was riding a custom Gunnar at the time, and they targeted him specifically for his bike (this was on a FB post by my LBS). Between this and the stories I've heard of people stringing up fishing line / twine across singletrack makes me think that maybe dealing with cars on the road isn't so bad after all. |
nikku, There will always be some element of risk riding an urban MUP. I'd like to see more in Houston and that will require usage. I haven't been on that MUP, but I think I'll ride it for myself.
