Looks fairly beat-up for the price he's asking.

FWIW: those little "teardrops" in the sides of the headlugs tell me this has something to do with Giovanni Losa...something like he built this frame, perhaps.

Looks repainted and said repaint didn't hold up too well. Agreed that in that condition, it should be closer to $3/400.

Late-model Super, probably SL, as none of the tubes have special profiling. Fork should be fully-chromed at the least.

I'd say pass at that price.

I wouldn't get excited about a $120 shipping charge for this frameset either.

I like Colnagos I've owned a few over the years. I own too many now. I promised myself I wouldn't buy another. But I still check EBay in 8 countries every morning. When I think something is interesting I post it here. I have no finical interest I'm not suggesting anyone should buy it. It looked interesting because of the lack of top tube cable guides. People in the US are experts on US market Colnagos which think was about 20% of production. This bike
is most likely made for the European market. Germany and eastern Europe were very important markets for Colnago in this time period. Have you ever
seen any of the many models Colnago made for the East German National team when they sponsored them in the 80'-90's? Or the special bikes they made for Herman's in Schann Lichtenstein ? So is this bike repainted? I don't know don't have your sharp eyes. Should the fork be chrome plated?
Maybe so maybe no. A lot of strange Colnagos turn up on German EBay. Ed

maybe the lack of cable guides has something to do with the internal cable routing?

Yes, a hole at 6 o'clock with a small butress around it - it's about two inches back from the lower tang of the top head lug.

Just behind the head lug you can see a reinforcement around the cable insertion site:

I know I'm half blind but I still don't see it. I sent an Email to the seller. If it does have internal routing its probably not a Super. The blue and
yellow were the DDR National Team colors, but usually a lot more yellow. Ed

The seller says he thinks the paint is original. Yes it has internal cable routing. So its probably not a Super. He doesn't know the model. And I still cant see the hole maybe its time for new glasses. Ed
