We need some orangey-good MTB representation on this thread. A good friend of mine calls this the "Denver Broncos Cheerleaders Clown Bike." (Can't quite figure out what he's getting at, there :D )

^ NICE - you've been holding out on us! I'd like to see more pics of that Super (I'm assuming its a late-70s model with the metallic-orange paint); it's beautiful. And the neon-orange on the Shark almost fried my eyes :)
Nice Pug, too - that looks all-original; is it? Pretty little collection of orange bikes you've got there. DD The wifes Pug is all original. Answered a CL post that said "$15 or bike goes to dump at end of day". A true saved from the dump. Loving all the Orange. Keep em coming! |

Fiorelli made Coppi Milano Sanremo with a few changes since last year

I wasn't sure if burnt copper counts so I made sure there was plenty of orange in the background ;)

Hmmmm... The only ORANGE bike I ever had was my old 23" frame '74 Fuji Special Tourer, complete with the blue plastic handlebar wrap
http://www.classicfuji.com/1974_07_Tourer_PageB.htm Sorry, I can't find a postable pic of one... But here's a linky Actually I had two - the first stolen after only three months F9B18529, and replaced with F9B18546. The latter was sold to my buddy's sister to partially fund the purchase of my LBS's 'scratch & dent' '75 S-10S bought new in late '76... which I still have today! |

One of my fall projects, a Nishiki International or Kokusai, rescued from my brother-in-law's curbside trash. Powdercoated & waiting for me to decide on a build plan. |

Does 'Polychromatic Bronze' count as 'Orange'?

The only Orange I've had through my hands, a late 70's Beacon, (dime-store brand) that got some old chrome Schwinn wheels, a flatbar with more modern shifters, and was passed on to a friend of my son's who needed a bike and couldn't afford one.

My Woodrup frame needs repainting — badly and no way around it. I settled on orange, but it had to be the right hue. I finally found it when the new Toyota Aqua models came out. 90% of all Japanese cars are either white, black, silver or other somber colors. But finally there are a few alternatives. Here is the orange I want. I just need to walk onto a car lot and beg for the paint code. The color is better in real life — more vibrant. You orange lovers out there might look out for export cars in the same color.:thumb:http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=347681

No need to beg, if the drivers door is unlocked, it usually inside the front door on a tag/sticker. Most of the time it's three digits.,,,,BD
I just did a quick search, and I believe it's 4V7? Habanero is the color name? http://www.automotivetouchup.com/tou...14/all-models/ I usually like the more muted metallic pearl oranges.....Kinda like this... http://gaugemagazine.com/files/galle...r-10_gauge.jpg |
