brake lever band clamps

I got an amazing pair of 600 brake levers from evrythngsgngrn. I went to put them on some giro d'italia bars and ... Cr@p! the clamps are 22.2. the bars are standard 24.0. Are there aftermarket clamps or am I looking for a donor pair of levers? I didn't even know lever clamps came in different sizes. I really want to use these levers, they're so cool.

You'll need to find out if the 600s were available with 24.0 clamps. If not, you'll probably need to change the bars.

They were definitely available in 23.8 or 24 mm, that's the standard size for road brake levers and bars.22.2 is far less common. My guess is you won't need to find a specific Shimano 600 band, but you'll find others that fit.

If those levers use a typical draw bolt and eared piece to tighten the bands, you might be able to use the 23.8 version "City Lever" sold by Velo Orange for about $12 and swop the clamps. Either that or find donor levers at a CoOp or LBS.
