If you're trying to save weight, why not just cut the seatpost? (not that I'm saying thats a good idea, just using the sellers logic)
Sicko. We know he's nuts and guessing soon will perform a self lobotomy.
He is also selling a crankset with drilled rings. At first, when I looked at the thumbnail, I thought it he did a better job but once you look at the actual picture you quickly see its the same artist at work. Not only that, but he didn't even feel the need to clean the thick grease off the teeth before drilling. At least its not as dangerous as that seatpost.

Is it just my imagination, or has the post actually bent at the point where the "drillium" - and I intentionally use that term disparagingly - ends? Holy crap!

that sick nazi dude ! This guy REALLY doesn't understand ANYTHING about drillium. These parts aren't lightened, they are destroyed. I just wish he'd dress up in his silly uniform and then go out and ride a bike fitted with a selection of these parts - thereby pretty quickly putting a permanent stop to all this childish vandalism and nonsense. I feel sick at the sight, think I'm going to lie down now..................... |
I remember getting my first Power Drill...I think I was 12

I wonder if he drills holes in all his Nazi stiff, you know, to lighten them up.
...This has got to be a joke, right?
Oh, that reminds me, I've got a Dentist appointment on Monday
