Chain Ring Fastners - Identify these

1 Attachment(s)
Way back when I was in my 20's I bought a Campy crank set in 165 length. It was delivered in an Avocet box. I assume that was what replaced the Campy set, don't know. In the box were the chain ring fastners. Upon inspection, they are not Campy. Whose are they? Avocet?

SR / Sakae, I think. At least, I have an SR crank on which the granny ring is held on by studs that look like that.

maybe so^ but the Avocet triple (made by Ofmega) also used some similar bolts to hold the smallest chainring (see pic from Velobase)

without checking the threading I couldn't say for sure.

^^Yeah. that makes more sense.

Notice the step and chamfers on the upper left bolt. Looks like these are spacers and bolts without the internal thread or nut. Could easily be for a third ring.

The spacer has a smaller hole in one end with a chamfer on the end as well. Rather unique.

Pretty sure they're Avocet/Ofmega, for mounting the innermost ring on a triple. I have some here:

N.B. They also work for mounting an inner ring on the old Campy Record triples, or even Bob Freeman's aftermarket modified arms.

John, Thanks good to know! Maybe I will keep them!
