There are just too many nice bikes in this thread, so I've asked the mods to shut it down since it is causing too much covetousness 'round here.

Covetousness is a sin, they say. But only if it's their wives. You're OK.

Just to make folks talk and ask why, and to add to the American made rides, my '62 Schwinn "Campified" Continental.

Speaking of copper, how about a little Schwinn Radiant Coppertone? '65 Super Sport (too small) & a '66 Paramount (too big).

Early '60s Fiorelli -- as found photos

I can't seem to find a complete bike shot, but here are some pics of a Fiorelli I found a couple years ago. Lots of patina, the bronze paint matches rust nicely from 10ft.

No, my '63 Olmo isn't a new outing on this forum but given the ebb and flow of participation, it could be new to some. I posted it on an "I-talians" thread in November 2013, then on a "Full Monty" thread in August 2011 ...didn't look back further..... Peter

The BMX part is correct. IIRC, it does not have a brand name imprinted, and since I found it at the dump, I have no way of determining the brand. I did have to modify it to fit into the tiny Schwinn seat tube.

And an unknown frame I strongly suspect of being '60's.

You did it for the same reason why a dog licks himself in inapproprite places - because he can.

And in that vein . . . .

1961 Bianchi Competizione. Repainted by Ed Litton (the original paint had long since gone away) and fitted out with "period appropriate" parts. The original would have had a cottered crank, a non-Campy seat post, something other than a Brooks Pro saddle, and likely other differences, too. But eveything hanging on it was available in early-to-mid 60s (except for the Phil Wood BB - long story that you may already have read elsewhere, suffice to say it was the only reasonable available solution) and someone could have upgraded their Comp to look like this.

Almost forgot my 100% not period correct 1967 Paramount.

Ed Litton repainted this one, too. This color was not part of Schinn's color pallatte, but it should have been . . . .

These '60's bikes just keep getting better...

Hey - - In another 3 or 4 years, will my early '70's boom bikes become '60's bikes?

I think I'm going the other way: In another few years I'll move from my Sixties into my Seventies!
