My wife found a frame for our anniversary !!!!

Wow... how lucky lucky lucky am I ....???? My wife put out the word amongst my train/bike commute buddies... and a couple months went buy and word had it that a generous Mike Moran heard via the grapevine of her search and donated this Bertoni TSX frame (had seat post, head stem, btm bracket, front and rear derailleur). I have spent the last month buying campy components .... just about have her running... but issues with crank and spindle... chain line... and rear derailleur . Thanks to several on this forum guiding my way !

Can any one cite the years these bikes were produced? Is there anyway to tell (ie Serial Number/stamp somewhere?).

Thanks
steve

Lucky you
My '86 Bertoni (not a TSX) had two separate marks on the bottom bracket shell, a 4 digit numerical(?IIRC) serial number and a letter<dot>number mark (or might have been the other way around). Mine was 6.A signifying the first 2 weeks (A) of 1986 (6). See if yours has anything similar
