Wow! Global warming has eroded all your roads and trails. How can you ride on that with skinny tires?

fietsbob 12-23-13 12:08 PM

You need a fatbike to ride On that beach..

and to Know where the high ground is when the sealevel rises a Meter.

Chombi 12-23-13 12:08 PM

Mehhhhh.......Paradise is not perfect....... All those survival reality shows proved that there are actually lots of rats running around most tropical beaches:eek:........ and I never heard of snow sharks either.....:p

That looks great, I've never seen or been in snow before. I wonder if it's as cold as they say.......:twitchy:

The roads here in St. Paul have never been worse in my memory.

I am so tempted to drive over to the shop and just buy a Beargrease and be done with it.

I may finally break done and pick one up when they go on close out.......

Do it! The beargrease is probably the most reasonable extravagant purchase one could make.

The roads here are clear now but its been between -20 and -30 for most of December. My Winter riding is on Rollers and Trainer.

Beautiful, but I wouldn't trade you. I've got to have distinct seasons and some diversity in terrain. You know. . . hills and such.

Me too. It's blowing 20mph here in the Pacific NW, but it's sunny and and warmish (around 50) so I'm definitely going to get a ride in today. Just like yesterday, and the day before...

WNG 12-23-13 02:20 PM

Exchange all that aqua blue water with desert sand and it begins to look like here. Minus all that oppressive humidity. Blue skies and mid 60s F today.

cyclotoine 12-23-13 02:25 PM

yesterday was the five hours of light fat bike race. probably over 50 participants. A nice clear day and about -12C, great riding weather.

You know, I thought that too, Colonel. 12 years and counting and I have not once wished for cold weather. I do miss the hills though. And with no humidity, as in the desert with WNG, my skin dessicates and cracks. High temps and high humidity for me thanks.

Michael Angelo 12-23-13 05:31 PM

It's beautiful here in August, high 90's with 80%+ humidity....just lovely!!!

clubman 12-23-13 05:35 PM

Same here!
