got the forks painted and cleared. frame is painted, but waiting on velocals to get off their vacation so i can get the decals on and clear the frame. found an nos crankset to finish of my components.

Thanks. I'm keeping this one, so a few extra coats of paint and a little more wet sanding went into it.

Now that Zieleman has me dialed a little closer on the proper Gazelle and Reynolds decals.

I just found a set of black Bluemel Club Special fenders in their original wrapping in town here.

Now if I could just figure out the rest of the build. :)

i'm keeping the original 105 components. all that was missing was the cranks. i found these on ebay for a pretty good price. i think the gray and red will look nice together. a black regal saddle and black bar wrap.

i have to throw out a plug for velocals. i ordered a set of decals for my pinarello. even though they said they would be closed until the 7th. they shipped out my order today. that and their quality decals is why i keep buying from them.

Agreed, Velocals stuff just rocks. Sure do wish the Schwinn Decal Police had left him alone, though...
