DETROIT - North American Bike Week in March 2014

Actually only four days, commencing March 27, 2014.

Anyone planning to attend and/or sell during the show? I have a few bikes to sell, but don't want to schlep them there in the winter. Maybe one and a photo album.

I might try to attend, never been before but if I'm in town it looks like a good time.

Late March in Detroit? Could be 65F and it could be 25F. Odd time of year for a riding event.

Actually it is a perfect time for the show. I was at the first one,,,cant wait for it this year, since it is very expanded and 4 days long. I will do some of the rides.

30 days later is the Ann Arbor show.

Schedule for the events has finally got some details! Looks intriguing, hope the weather forecasters are wrong.

I hope to make it to some of the rides and the Cobo Hall show. Anyone else going.

Event Schedule | North American Bicycle Week

FYI, it doesn't show up right on the iPad

I'll be there Saturday in and out of the Velocity booth! If you see me, say "hi," I've only met 1 or 2 BF'rs offline in my 10 years here. Sadly, I've got a coworker's going away party Saturday night so I'll be driving back right after the show. No slow roll for me.

So, Saturday 10-6 p.m. at Cobo is the main indoor expo.? Can I still park on the roof? I haven't been downtown in a while, I have to admit....

Some of us from the DVBM (Detroit Vintage Bicycle Mafia) may be meeting on Saturday afternoon to discuss the plans for this year's Swap meet at the Wheeler Park Velodrome in late June....

Looked like more attendees this afternoon than last year, but not much to look at that was different from last year. A lot of bikes left in the swap corral at 3:00 ish.

Hope to make the slow roll tomorrow.

Rode Slow Roll yesterday and honestly, I'll probably never ride it again... I just found it to be incredibly boring. I guess I'm not one for parade rides. As soon as it was over I jetted home and did a nice gravel loop to save the day. While riding I made it a point to check out Chestnut Hollow as seen on American Pickers and got to check out their extensive collection of American made fat tire cruisers from the 30's - 50's. Not my style but they are neat look at.
