Any info on "Harrington" cycles?

Saw a bike with this marque listed on CL.. the bike is well equipped with high end mid-80s shimano, but I can't find anything on Harrington, except that they were a "foundry" and may have supplied parts to Raleigh and/or built bikes for them. I get the impression this is a UK company..? The tubing and components all appear to be japanese so I wonder if it wasn't actually made in japan..?

ps, not looking for value info or anything, just interested to know about the company/brand :thumb:

there was a Harrington foundary in the UK which made some of the full sloping crowns found on some models of Raleigh. do not know it there is any connection; do not assert any.
