Sold a Raleigh Technium MTB, a hybrid frame and some other stuff..............bought a B17, a B67, NOS Suntour barcons, 2 NOS 3 speed shifters, several Suntour clamp-on DT shifters and FD's to complete groups and some other stuff I probably don't need. A guy from MN. had a frame with interesting lugs, track dropouts but with a rear brake bridge, name on the DT was Challenge.

As usual, the best part was seeing folks - iab, ChicagoAl, Rockhound, Thermionic Scott, FastJake, DVC45, etc., as well as some CR list folks.
I sold a fair bit, and was pleased with some nice tubular purchases (Clement, Dugast), some TA compatible rings, some C Record levers, some shifters, etc., as well as a Grand Record frame set for cheap.....
A couple photos of the booty (I'm an idiot, and didn't take any at the swap):

I had a great time! ' got me plenty of parts that I will send to my cousin overseas, who's now into bike commuting/touring (thanks to me ).
But my best buy is an almost new, $25 carbon disc fork that'll go to my disc equipped commuter bike, that currently has a very heavy steel fork.
I spent a little over my allocated toy fund, but its worth it.
Just found out there's another one in Chicago next month.

I wish I had checked this thread before the swap so I could have met some of you! I haven't posted regularly here in a couple years, though, so it might not have mattered much.
Anyway, I got some stuff! A pair of VO City pedals, a NOS Shimano 600 threaded headset, a really clean Dura-Ace threaded headset, a front rack, an LX front derailer, a nice seat post, and a nice seat. All of it is going on my touring build except the Dura-Ace, which is going on my "race bike," which is now complete Dura-Ace except for hubs and seat post.

I bought only a few things (2x new Sun CR18s at $15 ea) and sold just one--a dried out leather (Brooks?) tool pouch that had been on an old Raleigh Sports. But the browsing, chatting, and hanging out time were excellent. DVC45 and 3speed--you shoulda stopped to say hi!
Much talk of the Cino Bartalli event that iab is putting on this summer---I will have to practice for some of these 'hills' that everyone is talking about.

I was tempted by those $15 CR18s -- apparently, the guy got a deal on a big box of them from a Sun rep a few years ago, and has been trying to get rid of them since. But I decided that I should wait until I've ridden enough to wear out a set of rims before buying the next set.

I had a great time at the swap this year too. This was the first time I've met anyone from BikeForums in person, which was pretty cool.
Biggest score for me were a pair of Shimano 9S bar-end shifters for $5. Got some cyclocross tubulars, some stems, other misc.

I always look for those............all the ones I found yesterday were between $40-$85. I did find a Suntour set for $10 that look to be brand new.

I went alone...Tom could not make it. Found a nice Cinelli Quill stem for my 84' Paramount. Looked at every table wish I had gotten there sooner, but kid basketball game...oh well such is life. Found Bob's table but no Bob or Iab...I looked around but had to go as the kids were calling me..."DAD WHAT IS TAKING YOU SO LONG"...two word reply...BIKE STUFF!
Saw a great kids road bike (my daughter would have relentlessly wanted me to buy...thank god she did not come" 1k so out of my range...still looking WinkWinkNudgeNudge.
Sorry I missed you all
Cheers!

If you are looking for something like that, Rockhound has a smallish, maybe 48cm or even less, Trek 330 frame/fork. Bright red, great condition, and I bet he'd make you a great price on it. Kids grow fast!

We even had a Lake Louie Scotch Ale with your name on it!
See you at the Walker House for the Centenario Bartali?

Wow. That's a hell of a score. Let me know if you wanna trade them for a nice condition Tri-color FD&RD. Or just let me know if you don't have a particular use for them at the moment and are looking for any other bike parts that I might have. I've been looking for some for my touring build which is So close to being finished, but haven't seen any in good condition under ~$50.

@ Bibliobob....wow that is so cool of you to think if me, feel even worse now. The ride sound awesome, but i will be doing the Scenic Shore 150. Dairyland Dare at Walker for sure. @Chicago Al...Thanks for the heads up, but hoping to find one built up rather than scratch.

I was really tempted by the Wildebeest touring bike in the corral, but again, $1.4k was out of my budget.
My girlfriend got good deals--and plenty of looks; she was one of the few women there. Plenty of deals on XS gear for her.
Now I gotta find a decent lowrider rack to mount those panniers...
Good to see you, and the rest of the crowd!

I got a pair of Mountainsmith panniers for $35, a beefy Abus chain lock for $15, and a jersey. The 24" Guerciotti tempted me as a kids' bike as well, but the $1k price changed that tune quick.

It was a lovely bike, but it didn't fit any of my current bike riding needs. Bike collecting, maybe, but my budget doesn't have room for collecting yet.
