Every picture tells a story
It's true
Wanna test it out? Post a pic here that means something to you and I'd be willing to bet some C&V member will be able to tell us the story behind it.
EDIT: While the invented stories are great, what I am looking for is the real story behind the photos
No words - just a photo. I'll start with this one:

I've been especially wary lately, because there's been a rash of bike thefts in my hood and several of my bike riding buds have had their bikes stolen from their garages and even their places of business, in spite of all their precautions and U-locks.
Last Saturday morning, I made my usual stop with my black Mercian at the bottle return center to drop-off the 24 beer bottles from the night before. As I was feeding, bottles into the hopper, I glanced sideways to see some thug with his back to me, crouching down by my bike.
I immediately stopped what I was doing and stepped around to the the front of the bike to confront the miscreant head-on.
Ah HA!! I said. "Trying to rip-off my bike, eh? - I'll teach you a lesson you won't soon forget!"
And at that, I deftly removed the pump from its peg and gave the man a solid whack up the side of the head.
Unfortunately, I soon learned that he was merely an admiring C&V bike maven taking a closer look, who happened also to be an off-duty Detroit cop.
I am writing this from Jackson State Prison. The photo you see is exhibit A in the prosecutor's file. Good thing that there are plenty of legal eagles here on BikeForums who share my interest and are willing help out, pro-bono. (That's a legal term for "for free")

"...some C&V member will be able to tell us a story about it."
Leave it to Auchen to come up with a great story!
I should have - and meant to - used "the" instead of "a". My pic means something to a particular C&Ver, and perhaps a few more as well. I'm sure he'll chime in here at some point - and hopefully post a pic himself, too.

Bicycle Repair Man !!!
I have been concerned about my gluten sensitivity and the fact that my human does not understand that dogs don't need to eat wheat and grains... we dogs prefer a paleo diet unlike the cat who never eats vegetables of any kind. The cat also craps in the house which I cannot understand and don;t know why the other dog finds kitty crunchies to be tasty... it is rather disgusting for one of my pedigree to deal with.
I guess Shih Tzus are just dumber than most.
I was taking my human for his daily walk, because he eats too much bread and cookies and I like to keep him in shape, I saw this beautiful lady and saw the sign that said gluten free dog treats and managed to slip away from my owner to taste them.
When he caught up he was more interested in the lady than the treats but bought some for me... I guess she was kind of tasty and she smelled nice from the front which he seemed to like.
Humans are weird.

No worries about the details; I was only looking for the basics you outlined above. That was a great story for me, too. I just ran across the photos today and thought: "what if I started a thread based on a simple photo?"
Nice job!
