It's all about the bar tape.. nice!
Hipsters always seem to be okay with my builds but they always comment on the damn bar tape (I admit I am not the best bar tape wrapping artist) .

Panasonic Team Custom
I'll play. Sadly too small and no longer mine. With all the color options available, there probably weren't too many

Some really great looking bikes here & I just love the loud 80's paint jobs. I only have a few MTB's that are waiting for me to get to that have a little flavor to them but nothing like the other bikes shown in this thread.
My Schwinn Paramount PDG 70 with Orange Krackle,
My Diamond Back with Purple Splash,
My GT Outpost which is my favorite as far as paint goes,

Not my bike, and sorry, not yet classic, but it is a wild confetti custom paint (or is it a wrap?) on a newish Specialized at Serious Cycling in Northridge, CA. Can you find the Specialized logo?

Not mine, but I like this Seven cycles level 2 paint scheme. Not a Michigan fan, might not be safe to ride in Columbus, OH.

I know, here we go again!
Most Pinarello's are a solid color. This is identified as Spumoni, how fitting for an Italian bike! Anyway, 1991. What is unique is the pearl translucent finish that is "falling" off in some places. not the picture of the BB

Prior to was the 1984 Olympics in LA and Pinarello ridden by Alexi Grewal - won gold. Paint scheme called 'Arco' (LA84), rainbow in Italian.

Here's my fresh built '85 Basso, frameset originally sold by Denver Spoke. Popular theme immediately after the Olympics.

Well neither of my Giordana's are exactly subtle in today's bland world of matte black plastic bikes.
This one is more subdued but still not like anything you'll find today. Well.... except for a Hello Kitty girl bike, LOL!
I wish I had a steady hand because I'd line the lugs with a matching Magenta if I thought I could pull it off decently.
