Raleigh Pro Mk IV

Just finished up the decals. I will clearcoat tomorrow. As I mentioned last time, I played with the colors a little; choosing a deeper blue and white instead of silver.

Weren't the Pro MkIV 531 tubes, fork & stays; not just the frame triangle (re: your decal)?

Yes.

Not "Correct" but a tasteful color re-interpretation that could do w/ the proper repro-Reynolds transfers.
Here's a pic of my MKIV fork to compare when you get a replacement set.

Still time to change it before you clear coat? Is it my eyes or is that "531" blue too? Interesting.

Dang...Mk IVs all over the forum. That is at least four being brought back to life on the forum.

I don't care for the color, but it has been well done. Nice work.

I like it better than the "proper" Mink but being a Schwinn boy I like bright colors

Really nice paint Wulf,I love the idea of re-spraying in custom color combinations. Can't wait to see the finished bike!

Finished the clear coat today. I used a 2-part rattlecan clear that has a valve in the bottom of the can that must be activated to release the catalyst. It goes on really glossy.
